What you see

Why it happens
manifest.json has to be strict JSON. ChatGPT often leaves in // comments, a comma after the last item, curly quotes, or a line of its own text at the top.
The fix
- rightsocket does this Reads the manifest loosely (comments, trailing commas, curly quotes) and writes it back as clean JSON.
