Could not load icon specified in the manifest

What you see

Could not load icon 'icon.png' specified in 'icons'.

Why it happens

The manifest names icon files that ChatGPT mentioned but never made. Chrome refuses to load the extension until they exist.

The fix

• rightsocket does this Removes icons that weren’t in what you pasted. Chrome then shows its default icon, and you can add your own later.
