MessageEmbed is not a constructor
What you see
TypeError: MessageEmbed is not a constructor
Why it happens
discord.js v14 renamed the builders: MessageEmbed is now EmbedBuilder, MessageActionRow is ActionRowBuilder, MessageButton is ButtonBuilder.
The fix
- rightsocket does this Renames the builders, changes setFooter / setAuthor / addField to the v14 object form, and changes colour and style strings ('BLUE', 'PRIMARY').
What changed, and when
- July 2022, discord.js: discord.js v14: Intents became GatewayIntentBits, MessageEmbed became EmbedBuilder, the "message" event became "messageCreate", and string styles and colours became enums.
